Prior to joining Altas, Carmel worked at an esthetician services business in Toronto as a District Manager (Downtown East) where she focused on business management, bookkeeping, and day-to-day operations.

Carmel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance: Production and Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) (with Distinction).
