Andrew founded Altas Partners in 2012. Andrew established the firm following a 17-year career with Onex Corporation, where he co-led the establishment of the firm’s large cap private equity platform in 2001 and oversaw its other investing platforms, including ONCAP.

Prior to joining Onex in 1995, Andrew worked at McKinsey & Company and a private family business. Andrew is or has served as a Board member or Trustee of The Hospital for Sick Children, Hot Docs, the York School, Urban Squash Toronto, and Harvard Business School’s Canadian Advisory Board. He is also the Founder of the Wolf Scholars Program at the University of Toronto, and Chairman of the Wolf Cooper Foundation.

Education

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from McGill University (First in Class) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
